American Style Bowie
by Popular Demand. I have created the JAGER
(pronounced Yager - means Hunter in German. I did carry a German made Bowie in the Military about 30 years ago. Model Solingen 443. )
This one had to be different. From Research, the largest complaints were the pommel or guard coming loose over time as they are pinned or welded. I have eliminated this by carving one out of a single Block of 52100 High Carbon alloy steel
. This knife is one integral piece.
It comes in 7mm (1/4) or 9mm (3/8) spine. I prefer the 1/4 as it is faster to wield. The 3/8 is better for heavy duty chopping. You have a choice of leather or Kydex sheath
. More pictures coming soon.
Price is $330 delivered.
I will be phasing this model out very soon. By January 15 if not sooner..
are to be made by KHHI as of January 2015

Blades are 1/4 inch thick EN31 carbon steel. Similar to 5160, but with the added benefit of Chrome being added. Knives without sheath weigh approximately 32 ounces. These are heavy duty choppers.
KHHI Original version is $210.00. Includes shipping inside the U.S. and will include custom leather sheath
Custom Leather Sheath included with Frank Bowie
: Made in Nepal as of January 2015. APACHE
1/4 INCH SPINE. WEIGHT APPROXIMATE 18 OUNCES. BLADE IS 8 INCHES.
I wanted a knife that was still a good Bush knife, but more rough in appearance. It is a rough, but good solid knife designed for survival techniques such as batoning fire wood, Cutting tree branches to make a Lean-To and various other survival techniques.
Price will be $140 WITH THE SHEATH. $140 without the sheath
BELOW IS THE Apache THAT WENT OUT TO WEAPONSCACHE.COM MEMBER. Custom Logo was added for the Forum.
This is the style of sheath created for the Frank Bowie Defender and the Apache.
